The Buildings & Factories (B&F) business vertical of Larsen & Toubro has won multiple orders in India. According to the company's project classification, the value of the orders ranges between Rs 1,000 crore to Rs 2,500 crore.

It has secured an order from Oberoi Realty for the construction of seven high-rise residential towers in Gurugram, NCR. The scope includes RCC shell and core construction, as well as earthworks and piling, all to be executed within stringent timelines.

The business vertical has also secured an order for construction of Proving Ground from a reputed international company in Haryana. The facility will boost testing infrastructure for vehicles embedded with latest technology. Besides the Proving Ground, the scope includes finishing works and external development relevant to the facility.

Mahindra & Mahindra saw a 20x growth in the number of patents granted - from 56 patents granted since inception in FY16 to 1334 in FY26.

Cumulative tally of applications filed by M&M stands at 2,728 as of March 2026, indicating M&M's drive for innovation and excellence. Of the 1334 granted patents, 60% of them pertain to Automotive Business and 40% to Farm Business. Conversion ratio of applications to patents stood at 8% in FY16 and has improved to 65%+ for the applications filed over the last decade.

The growth in M&M's patent portfolio, reflects the company's growing R&D capabilities. This growing innovative heft has allowed the company to push the boundaries and create a technologically immersive experience for its customers. The patent portfolio also includes filings made by M&M subsidiary Mahindra Electric Automobile.

Dynamatic Technologies announced that Aerodata AG, an established German provider of specialised solutions for aviation, and Dynauton Systems®, a division of Dynamatic Technologies focusing on the development and manufacture of unmanned systems, announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The agreement establishes the framework for a strategic collaboration to develop a new unmanned, airborne surveillance and reconnaissance solution for the Indian region.

At the heart of the collaboration is Aerodata's modular AeroForce® X platform. The MALE UAS combines high payload capacity with a maximum endurance of up to 40 hours and is designed for the integration of advanced mission system technology. This particularly suits AeroForce® X for long duration, demanding ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) missions over land and sea. As part of the MoU, both companies will jointly evaluate how AeroForce® X can be further developed and deployed to meet the requirements of the Indian market. Dynauton will contribute its extensive engineering and manufacturing expertise in the field of unmanned systems, while Aerodata contributes its many years of experience in the integration of complex airborne surveillance and reconnaissance systems.

Patel Engineering announce that it has been declared as Lowest Bidder (L1) by SJVN Lower Arun Power Development Company (P) (SLPDC), a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN, for the Lower Arun Hydro-Electric Project (669 MW) Package 2 in the Sankhuwasabha District of Nepal, valued at Rs 1,593.08 crore (inclusive of VAT).

The Package-2, encompasses the execution of critical civil and hydro-mechanical works integral to the Lower Arun Hydro-Electric Project. This includes the construction of Adit-5 and Adit-6 leading to the Head Race Tunnel, as well as the Part Head Race Tunnel itself, measuring 10.5 meters in diameter and extending 5.41 kilometers. The scope further covers the Surge Shaft and its gates, the Pressure Shaft along with the Butterfly Valve Chamber and Access Adit, and the Power House, Switchyard, Surface Pothead Yard, and Tail Race Channel. Additionally, the package involves installation of steel liners for the Pressure Shafts, Draft Tube Gates and hoists, and the completion of associated road works and supporting infrastructure. Together, these components form the backbone of the project, ensuring efficient water conveyance, energy generation, and long-term operational reliability.

The project is scheduled to be completed within 54 months and the site is strategically located near Tumlingtar in Sankhuwasabha District of Nepal, approximately 264 km from Siliguri, India.
